The LeBarge Sunset Cruise was a very enjoyable event.? It just happened to be Gerry’s Birthday so we celebrated with cupcakes and everyone? on the boat sang “Happy Birthday”.? The weather really cooperated as we sailed by the McMansions.? One was so huge, Arnie thought it looked like the new Public Library.? Gerry mistook? one of them? for a friends ? condo.? The music on board really added to the atmosphere of fun, fun fun.? ? While the? gentle rocking of the water lulled some of us to sleep …? the night owls, Arnie, Colleen, Georgia and John went on to St Armands circle for a night-cap 0f Big Olaf’s ice cream.

July 2, 2009 – General Meeting – Siesta Key Bar-B-Que
July 20th, 2009Our monthly meeting was Bar-B-Que on Siesta Key Beach under the shady old trees.? It was quite comfortable and breezy.? ? The club provided the charcoal, paper plates, soda & ice.? Members brought their own meats to BBQ or sandwiches.? Everyone brought a dish to share … appetizers, salads, fruit and other delicious desserts including homemade pies.? The food was yummy and the seagulls thought so too … we each took turns fighting them off.? The company as always was fabulous.? A good time was had by all!? To complete the evening, some of us went to the beach afterwards and watched the sunset.
